I was thinking the exact same thing lol, I know a PC is cheaper but if someone can actually break down each piece of a complete, compatible computer with those specs for $1400 dollars I would be very impressed

Ok, so the eight core processor would be two, just like in the mac, but the only way to do it would be a server board, and with that you give up dual SLI video cards. I got extremely close, but with a higher mhz quad core processor, and the monitors are technically 23.6", not 24.0"
