FZ-55 toughbook is killing me installing win7 x64! please HELP!

i have a new fz-55 toughbook. it has the i7-8965u called whisky i believe. i have tried for 2 weeks to get win7 x64 installed and it fails at the same point every time. after it has been booted from installation usb drive..it sets up on the hdd, then when it reboots into 7, it freezes permanently on the win7 logo. i have tried changing all options in bios that might help, disabled secure boot etc. there is no option for cms support like on my cf54 mk2 with the i7-6600u. it has a compatible mode, but it doesnt seem to change anything. i have tried at least 40 times, have been researching after work for a couple of weeks and just cant get any clarity on the real issue. maybe bc im plugged into usb3 instead of usb2? thats about the only thing i havent tried. maybe i should go into bios right after setup installs on hdd and set bios to boot to install media instead of windows manager? i develop applications and work with applications that are used on win7 so i really need to figure out the dual boot win7/win10 process. if there is anyone that might have some helpful
information, please let me know

no sir, that i did not do. can you please tell me how i might go about doing that? i thought the lack of driver support maybe part of the issue, i just didnt know how to install them or where in the iso to install them

I would only add the drivers. After you succeed to install win 7 you can run Simplix

You're welcome.
You must set fast boot and secure boot to disabled on BIOS. You may also have to turn CSM to on.
You will probably find some problems with the internal graphics drivers.

Nowadays, computers are made specifically to run Win 10, specially laptops and tablets.
Unfortunately, even custom build computers using Asus, Gigabyte, MSI etc MB, are getting more restrictions on Win 7.
And for what I see on Tenforums, Win 7 is still more stable and reliable than Win 10.

You can browse through the entire list and decide which ones you need.

i have tried everything possible with no success. i am going to dump the fz-55 and keep my cf-54 instead that supports csm. i am not going to accept any machine that i am limited to win10 os. i have had a chance to poke around in win10 system. the oem version. and i got it to the point it was a fast as my win7, but the crap that is in win10 is big brother type scary. imho it merely provides a portal of vulnerability. it gives complete and total access to your entire machine. the operating system does what ever it wants. it will reverse changes youve made that were supposed to permanent and thats after stripping most of it down with nlite. just wanted to leave a update on the outcome of my attempts. it will be after new years before i dump it for sale. if anyone has anything we have missed here, please chime in.
