G15 Keyboard and driver

I can't seem to get mine to work for some reason since i upgraded to windows 7. I have enterprise 64 bit and i downloaded the drivers here
G15 Gaming Keyboard
But i either get an error saying it can't install the application while running, or when it does go through it gives me a runtime error. I am lost and can't figure it out please help me. Main problem is i can't get the screen to work right and i can't get the option like i had on xp where i could change what showed up on my screen, like ventrillo or game data.

Your G15 is it V1 or V2 ?

How can i tell?
It the blue light back lit one with the 18 quick keys on the left of the keyboard

OK look at the picture on the drivers download page

V1 > G15 Gaming Keyboard

V2 > G15 Gaming Keyboard

OK make sure you get the 64-bit drivers for the option you want

I have the g15 v2 keyboard and the drivers work fine for Windows 64-bit

the profile set up works but i can't get it to be able to display on the lcd screen

Hi mark Is your LCD enabled ? even when its disabled (off) it will show a Logitech logo (my Dad has a G15 V1) if your LCD is blank there is something wrong with the Keyboard, if not go through all settings and just try Time/Date at first.

I keep getting runtime c++ errors when i start my computer concerning the g15. thats with the downloaded drivers from the logitech website.

Have you tried a different Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package ?

I went to the website and tried it, still getting the error, I just deleted the logitech folders off my HD i'll try installing again. gonna go try to get some C++ runtime error fixes first

After some digging I see some G15 v1 users have had to reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ this includes 2008 and 2010 related
