Gadgets not opening, cant restore but some are still

Oksooooooo all of a sudden my desktop gadgets are not working sorta, some of them come on during startup like normal, but a few are missing, and i cannot open desktop gadgets, i tried to restore, and uninstall and it will not open the desktop gagets uhm window/program ect wtf >_< its gana drive me crazy can any one offer assitence.
im running windows 7 ultimate.

fixed it lol
using gpedit.msc i went into windows components and disabled the desktop gagets after closing all that where open, did a reboot, re enabled and boom works again!
