I'd like to use a Yahoo widget for share ToDo lists. I'm unsure of the terminology and total blank on the technology.... Can such Yahoo widgets, which seem browser based, be used as Windows7 desktop gadgets?

Why don't you give us a link to the Yahoo gadget so we can check it out? But meanwhile, generally speaking, if you can install it on your Desktop, and it works, then Voila! You've got a Desktop gadget!

Ah ha,,, thread moved to its proper sub-forum. My apologies to the Admin for the extra admin.

@Imperfect1: Thanks. Good question, but I can't find it again now and no time at the moment. I didn't keep the info or link to the one(s) I liked, because they needed the Yahoo widget installation and that mentions Adobe Flash. So, that's a web page solution and not what I'm looking for, so I just turned away.

@DocBrown: Thanks, but like the many other to do list gadgets, it can't be shared. They're one-PC solutions. I've been experimenting with this.

I currently use Yahoo's web based calendar and todos, but having only recently discovered Windows7 gadgets, would like to get such functionality onto my desktop. I share my calendars/todos/life with MrsLC. ;)
