game display - width decreased

Hi,

i just installed windows 7, it seems to be working fine til i tried playing LAN games E.G, NFS underground. The display seem to look like a portrait (half screen only by width). Im kindda skeptic about it so i tried playing another game and it still the same thing.


Hope you guys can shed me some light on this. Im kindda not a techie person about this
