Good Morning

This morning after getting a bug from the Everquest II test server I decided to do an uninstall of the entire game and do a fresh install. After I did the uninstall I did a search to make sure all was gone and Everquest II: Desert of Flames popped up. Funny thing was that wasn't the disk I used to install the game. Anyhow I went to where it was located to find 30 icons for Everquest II: Desert of Flames. I would like all 30 of those icons gone but it will not let me. I delted directly from search and went back into the Game explorer now all 30 are still there but they don't have the icon but have a like a little thumb nail with a blue top and little dots on it. How do I get rid of them? Really I don't need 30 of these silly things.

Thanks

I just did a fresh instal the little icons are back to the EQII icon. I did a check and there are actually 390 of these silly annoying things in the games explorer window. How do I make them all go bye bye? They are just taking up space.

Hey SleeStak

If your out there would you happen to know how to stop the game constantly being added to the game explorer. Every time I launch the game it puts another EQII: Desert of Flames icon in the explorer. Funny thing is that isn't even the game disc I used to install the game.

Thanks for your time

sorry no I don't know how to stop the icons from being added

the W7 games explorer icon issues with EQII: DoF has been a problem for many people for months now with no fix from either SoE or Microsoft

maybe try running the game directly from the EverQuest2.exe instead of using the launcher/patcher.exe to start the game and see if that makes any difference
