And I cannot bring the window back up once it's minimized. It'll flash on the screen and immediately minimize itself back to the task bar. Task Manager says it's running just fine.

The only game I've seen this happen with is Minecraft and I have to go into the options file and set full screen to false in order to play the game. Originally I posted this issue on the minecraft forums and no one could help me. I've since gone through dozens of webpages (even threads from this forum), and videos in an effort to fix the problem and nothing has worked.

I've tried updating my graphics driver, I've run malware bites, I've changed some settings (such as startup programs and what's running constantly) to try and give my computer more to work with, tried turning off auto updates and stuff that constantly runs in the background while I use the game, and tried rolling back the computer to a previous date. Nope, nada, zilch.

What's really weird is that I can play full screen immediately after a restart. However, once I exit the game and try to start it up again the problem once again occurs and I have to go to the options file again.

Some of my other games have randomly minimized themselves for no reason but I'm usually able to just open the window again and it's fine. Not so with minecraft and it's incredibly frustrating.

Can anyone offer me advice or help at all? I would greatly appreciate it! I've added my computer information upon registering here but am happy to give further details. Thank you for taking the time to at least read this, even if you can't help me.

Tried selecting the game on taskbar and ALT+ENTER to go fullscreen? You can also select and ALT+SPACE to bring the menu and select maximize (you will still need to make it fullscreen).
