Solved games are slow

Hi... I am currently using core2 quad system with 3Gb ram and 512 Mb graphics card, the games I use to run on my system are slow with Windows 7, while run perfectly on windows 8 with same system...?? I don't understand the problem...

Try uninstalling the current drivers and download the latest drivers and update the directx as well. Also if you would let us know what games your trying to run which were performing fine before and are you using any specific anti-virus software that might eat up your resources or running unnecessary applications in the background as well as keeping the browsers windows open while the game is running?

Hard to believe a 512mb card is able to run anything game wise besides tic-tac-toe or solitary :/

Yes 1gb will get you closer :)
2gb's would be better since your 32 bit system only allows 3gb of ram max to be seen.
Make note of the power supply minimal requirements for graphic's cards and try not to go too far over what ever you actually have.

Are you sure mate?
I managed to run Battlefield 3: 50fps (capped)/High settings (not all,sampling and that stuff disabled)/MP 64 players server on Caspian border map, on my GeForce 9600GT 512Mb.

And yeah,you'll get some fps boost on Windows 8.
But what do you mean by slow?Lag?Stutters?

512 MB can run hell of a games bro...! just don't get it why my pc is slow, but my friends pc run perfectly,, we have the same the systems..

When was the last time you defragged your hard drive? You should do it regularly because slow loading times is another cause of a slow computer.
