Solved Games closing while playing with BSOD and without BSOD

Bluescreen View is not the best to use and just gives you the basics and will not search for other causes. Just like this time, it named the Windows Kernel. If that was a cause, Windows would not work at all.

This is what the dump file says

Code:
fffff800`05354680 fffffa80`0d0809d0
fffff800`05354688 fffff880`0113a6b5*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for iaStorA.sys

That is your graphics driver, and I doubt it caused the problem. Go to control Panel>Uninstall a program and uninstall Intel Rapid Storage Technology (IRST) Unless you are running Raid it shouldn't hurt anything. It is the Intel Raid driver.

I uninstalled Intel Rapid Storage Technology (IRST) from control Panel, but that never solved my issue. So i reinstalled again. For fixing problem with SFC, i downloaded kb947821 (Fix Windows corruption errors by using the DISM or System Update Readiness tool)and installed and make it ran until completed and after that i ran again SFC with no more problems anymore. I dont have BSOD when im playing games, what i found that i have BSOD only when i put it to sleep or hibernate while it is attached to external HDD, while if it was not attached to external HDD and put it to sleep or hibernate, i got no BSOD. So i start removing external HDD before every time i want to put it to sleep or hibernate to not get BSOD. Thanks for your response. I really appreciated.

You may want to check the external hard drive for errors. That may be the problem. But, I am glad you figured it out.

Sounds like Sleep can't put your externals to sleep or wake them up for some reason.

Just a suggestion.

Would it be easier just to turn off your computer rather than plugging in and unplugging external drives and using the Sleep mode.
I never use the Sleep Mode so I know very little about it.

Just a thought.

While im playing games, once in each 10 times i played ( like one time every week), especially if i played more than 2 or 3 hours, some games ( not all games ) either crashing on closing or just crashed while im still playing without any BSOD (by the way i have no more BSOD). So i checked everything and I got in Event Viewer Kernel-Processor-Power, level-warning (( The speed of processor n (0,1,2,3) in group 0 is being limited by system firmware. The processor has been in this reduced performance state for y (71) seconds since the last report. So i read about that in internet and i started to change Power Options from Balanced to High Perfomance everytime i wanted to play which i think that is just due to Minimum Processor State in High Performance power option is 100%. By the way in High performance power option i got no anymore (The speed of processor n (0,1,2,3) in group 0 is being limited by system firmware. The processor has been in this reduced performance state for y (71) seconds since the last report) in Event Viewer, also even these games no more crashing on closing and when im playing for a long time, and just switching to High performance power option i solved that issue but with so bad for battery. So Is it ok if i put my PC always on High Performance power option ? Also Is it ok to ask here or maybe better to make a new thread if i have a question ?

If I understand what you are saying correctly, you can run in High Performance mode if you wish. But, you can set the values for High Performance in advanced power settings. I set mine that way, but set minimum processor to 5% and max processor to 100%. That allows the CPU to throttle down when not in use. If you choose to stay with the 100% setting for both, it will generate more heat and battery life will suffer.

As for a better battery, I would start a new thread in computer hardware or the General section. I know little about Laptop batteries.

But if I play games and set minimum processor to 5% and max processor to 100%, I will get Event Viewer Kernel-Processor-Power, level-warning (( The speed of processor n (0,1,2,3) in group 0 is being limited by system firmware. The processor has been in this reduced performance state for y (71) seconds since the last report )). While if I play games and set minimum processor to 100% and max processor to 100%, I dont get that message in Event Viewer. So maybe it is better to set minimum processor to 100% and max processor to 100% just in time while im playing and and want to play games and after that i will changed again to 5% because I have no other option.

If that's what you want to do, it is fine. But, there is no reason that I know of that a processor would or should be limited while playing a game, other than thermal throttling.

The most important thing I learned from you is that solving problems and issues in OS are more interesting and give us more knowledge than just reinstall Windows. Lots of interesting things I learned from you and not just help me in solving my issues. This forum rightnow my favorite one, Im reading here all the time, specially tutorials, lots of very savvy information and great and easy tutorials for each level from beginner to advanced user.
