Games Explorer problem windows 7

I dragged an icon to an online game to the games explorer to make a shortcut to it but all it made was a link to the internet with the google chrome icon and it doesn't work if i click on the shortcut it does nothing and it want let me delete it. its just there how can i remove it?

Follow the instructions in that link dealing with Registry Key method.

The key you are looking for will not have many entries in it. And, in the section named "Title" will be named just as it currently is in the Game Explorer.

When you drop a shortcut into the Games Explorer, its assigned a number.
It is also stored in 2 places.


Location 1 is the Registry entry itself.
Deleting this key should remove the shortcut from the game Explorer.

To completely remove it delete the other folder it created.

Location 2 is actualy folder/shortcut itself.
Located at:
C: /Users/ [User name] / AppData / Local / Microsoft / Windows / Game Explorer

The numbered folder will be the same as the numbered registry key.

Make sure you do a search for the game that you want to delete. Once found, delete the strings.

Let us know if this works.

No i did try that and its not located in the registry every other game is though just not this one for some reason when i copied the link into games folder it created a google chrome shortcut to the game?... which is weird it doesnt do anything.
for some reason it thinks its a internet shortcut
