I was wondering if these games will work on windows 7?:

Sims 2
Jurassic Park:Operation Genisis
Zoo Tycoon 2
Company of Heroes 1
Rollercoaster Tycoon 3
Rome: Total War
oh, and- Spore -

I'm new, i have windows 7 on my laptop, but im gettin a computor and i am looking forward to play these games on it and was wondering if i could have these games AND have windows 7?

So, please tell me wich games are/arent compatible with Windows 7?

Sims 2 works I am not sure about the others.

The only way to know for sure is to read on the game box what they work with. If they are old, they probably won't work.

personally i can confirm CoH works ok.

All of them should work fine. Only one I'm not sure about is Jurassic Park.

I got Jurassic Park installed under Windows XP SP3 compatibility and had the CPU affinity for the exe set to CORE0.
However this doesn't work on my friends PC so it may not for yours.

Uh...I wouldn't exactly say SIMS 2 will run without issue. At one point seemed everyday there was a post about issues with SIMS 2 and Windows 7.... I can confirm Zoo Tycoon 2, Rome: Total War and Spore all running on my install of Win7 x64. I have Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 partly working as well but I couldn't get past a couple of graphic glitches - but that could be my video card/drivers/what have you.
