Gaming Computer Question

I might be getting a new computer in the near future so i was wondering if this computer would be good/decent for gaming.
Here's the specs:
HP Pavilion
Windows 7 Home Premium
6GB PC3-10600 DDR3 SDRAM
AMD Athlon™ II quad-core processor 645 3.10ghz
2MB L2 cache memory
ATI Radeon HD 4200 integrated graphics 3GB
1TB Serial ATA hard drive (7200 rpm)VISION Premium Technology by AMD


Will it work? And how do you feel about the processor/graphics card/ram?
Any replys would be greatly appreciated.
Oh yeah, and i wasnt sure if i should put this in the Gaming section or not.

You could build your own system for alot less then what you would pay retail for that HP desktop. Also that CPU is not that great. I bet that system listed above is more then $650 am I right? Also that GPU sucks for gaming or anything else for that matter. Intergrated GPU's run off of the cpu which in turn slow the whole computer down.

If you're talking about current/new games, then tbh it's not really going to be up to the job.

The CPU and the integrated GPU are it's weakest links. Expect to be using a lot of low/medium settings.

Look at this. Much better CPU (Can be unlocked to a full quadcore), 2 more gigs of ram, USB 3.0, Sata 3, and a faster non cheap hard-drive. All for the same price as what best buy has. Also with the 400 watt power supply you can put in a gpu of your choice when ever you want.

What is this "integrated graphics" mean?

Integrated Graphics is when the graphics card is built into the motherboard and the cpu and ram does the work to process the on screen graphics.

Dedicated Graphics is when you have a standalone graphics card. Today most cards are PCIexpress x16 2.0 cards. On these cards there is a CPU which is called the GPU. Also there is ram located on the card. The card in a way is its own computer in itself. This is much better for gaming since the load of the graphics is off of the cpu. However you cpu does still have a part in all of this. If you do not have a good cpu you can create a bottle neck and not unleash the full potential of the gpu.
