I am having a weird issue. In both mirrors edge and borderlands when I gain control of the character it keeps turning left. So far these are the only two games that are doing this. I tried fallout 3, kotor, and bioshock and they all work fine. While in game I disconnected both the mouse and keyboard to see if that would stop it but the character continued to spin. I am not sure if it is windows 7 or what but I could use some suggestions.

Did you see if a patch was available?
Did it only start doing this?Did you try reinstalling it or repairing them from the control panel/programs/programs and features?

Well since it is doing it for two different games on two different engines I doubt it is the games themselves. This is my first time playing borderlands, but mirrors edge I have played before with no problems. I can't remember if I played it when I was running the win 7 RC, but I did recently install the retail version of 7 and now I am having this issue. Also yes I did try reinstalling BL.

LoL sheesh, I was about to type nothing and then it struck me that my joystick might be connected and there you go it was, and that was the problem. I usually keep it disconnected, but had to play some tie fighter a couple months back and forgot to disconnect it again. Thanks for jogging my memory.
