Solved GC slot question

Im adding some watercooling and plan on upgrading my motherboard and cpu but my question is setup of the graphics card. My mobo has 3 pci express x16 slots marked pciex16_1 pciex16_2 pciex16_3. I want to know if i can put my graphics card into slot 2 instead of slot 1. Is there any loss of performance being the 2nd slot being there both x16?

Most likely because it covers the chipset logo in slot 1:p :mad2:

The way i was planning on setting up I was going to add a pci slot fan above it to pull hot air from bottom of case being acx 2.0 blows hot air down. I decided to go without it.
