Gedcom will not upload

I have a moderate sized family tree and have made it ready for export as a Gedcom but when I get to that stage a I get this message;
'500 Internal server error.
'There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed'.
I have W7 Professional.
Any advice?

Normally when you get a 500 Internal server error it means the file is to big for the site you are downloading to.

What family tree program are you using to create the GEDCOM file ? Where are you tring to upload it to ?

Thanks my gedcom is 525kb ........ wonder if that is too much?

It is a PAF gedcom and I was trying to send it to Family Search DNA.
