Geforce GT520;screen saver in b&w

Everything else is just dandy.

I use my collection of tasteful nudes as my screensaver,as a slideshow. Photos are showing in black and white as a screen saver,but still in colour if I open them individually.

I went to the Nvidia homepage,and discovered an update for my driver was released last month. I'm downloading that as it seems like an obvious solution,but doesn't man it's necessarily right.Trail-and-error often works, but it's also a good way to stuff up your PC .

Be grateful for any advice.

Doest sound like a graphics driver issue, probably the slideshow settings.

In screensaver settings are you using the "Photos" option or "Windows Live Gallery" option, or another software?

If using windows Live Gallery, change the theme (random or black and white themes can both result in black and white photo's being displayed).
