My Google Chrome v.59 shows only generic icons in the Apps with one exceptions as the attachment displays.
What is solution?

You could try clearing chrome's cache: https://Clear cache and cookies | support.google.com

I'd only check "Cached images and files" and choosing "beginning of time" is up to you, If you see no difference then the problem may be from an earlier date so that's when you'd go back in and pick "beginning of time".

If you decide to pick "Cookies and other site data" be forewarned, you would, in all probability lose any sign-in's and any personalization's you've made to site's that you've saved and those sites would have to be re-done.
