Hello Seven Gurus from around the world! I have another task for you. Whenever I start up my computer, it pops up with this message that says "
this copy of Windows is not genuine" then I click "Ask me later" because my register key doesn't work. Then it turns my screen black at start-up and when it goes out of screensaver. It also has a little message in text at the bottom right that says:

Windows 7
Build 7600
This copy of Windows is not genuine

it's gotten to be really annoying!

Additional Details:
it also pops up every five minutes a small window that warns me about not using genuine windows.

any suggestions?;)

If you are certain you have a legitimate copy you can attempt the phone method, outside of that you are out of luck you either have a downloaded copy of windows or someone sold you a invalid key.

I'd recommend buying a legit copy of Windows.
Perfect answer.

If you are certain it's a legit copy, contact Microsoft via: phone. I've heard of this problem arising often after the KB971033 Update.
