Does anyone know how to get rid of the edge notifications other than installing edge?

Hello helpful55

Where are you seeing the Edge notifications?

Is you current default browser using Microsoft Bing Search Engine?

I already have MS Edge installed, yet I still get Edge notifications in my Browser with Bing search enabled, so I was wondering if this was the problem you mention.

Just when your message came on I was looking at this and was going to edit my post to state I am using bing (no wonder it has notifications for ms products). I have been using bing and had just changed to duck trying to get more unfiltered results. I really like the google and bing pages look but don’t like their way of thinking. I am not sure yet about duck, but I think if there are notifications they are less obtrusive. I had went to an old tab of bing results and it comes up in the right top area and it is enough of a pop up that it distracts and of course I feel I need to dismiss it. And yes I also do in fact have edge installed as I was going to delete IE but I still need it for my china spying surveillance camera program. But all I know is that it is in fact on the bing browser. I thought about the possible recommendation of reinstalling edge as maybe to cure a glitch. Sounds like this may be a ms glitch that they need to fix. I see no way in the browser settings to stop it. Maybe ms is trying to get us to somehow change to edge as our default browser? Would they do that.
