Ok so here is what happened. i tried to do the upgrade but it wouldn't let me do to the version on the disk was older than what i all ready had so i said the heck with it and formatted. Figured it would prob do me one better and i knew it would be quick seeing how i did it about a month or so ago. As of now the only thing that has happened is a game closed itself out. I got a friend with a PSU exactly like mine as i was told that the random restarts that don't toss a code thats been going on could be caused from a faulty PSU. So i am waiting on him to give me that and then gonna install it. Figured thats one less potential problem we don't have to worry about.

So if I understand you correctly, you tried a clean install which worked but there's still one game that's crashing. If this is the case, are you still getting BSOD's?

What is the game that continues to crash?

Also, some of your crashes have led me to a question: do you use an optimization tool to clean your registry?

I removed the game guard from the lineage 2 file. I just down loaded the .net frame which opened up a few more updates that wasn't popping up in thw indows update. And as far as cleaning tools i use auslogics disk defrag and auslogics registry cleaner.

Here is where I stand on registry cleaning and optimization tools in general:
Third party disk defragmenters are also not recommended; I have seen them cause crashes on systems. There are command line flags in Windows 7 that will accomplish the same effect that third party defragmenters promise. If you'd like, I can provide you with the command line tools.

At this point, I would recommend a clean install and that you not install the auslogics software. Instead, follow gregrocker's steps to set up a clean install for an optimal Windows experience: http://www.sevenforums.com/installation-setup/151566-reinstalling-windows-7-a.html#post1300819, of which the only part I do not agree with is the CCleaner step for the reasons mentioned above and below.

Registry cleaning tools should only be used by someone who knows the intricacies of the registry, and even then, it should be used sparingly and with registry backups made beforehand. CCleaner is less aggressive than most registry cleaners, but I have still seen it render a system inoperable when used to clean the registry.
