Getting BSOD on my new build can anyone help?

Hi all, I really hope someone can help me. This is my first custom build. I loaded everything correctly or so I thought. Put it together last weekend and since then I've had 4 BSOD happen during light web surfing and numerous crashes but NOT BSOD during gaming.

I feel if I can fix the BSOD, the crashes during gaming should stop. I don't know but I'm hoping someone can help me out with the BSODs.

Looking at your BSOD dmp files

When you Installed Windows did you use the Disc that came with the Motherboard? Or did you download the drivers off the Asus website ?

NIC Driver : Realtek

Choose :

Win7 and WinServer 2008 R2 Driver 7.069 2013/3/26 839k

Question : Are you using a external network card ? Or you using the Ethernet ports on the motherboard? NeverMind

Thanks for the advice. I used disc that came with the mobo to install mobo drivers. Ill try these links and see if it helps

It's better to use the drivers from the website cause the drivers there get updated the ones on the disc don't .

Still got Bsod but now im getting 0x00000050? I think? and Game is still crashing. Any ideas?

I have. I ran 6 mem test at 1200 each. it wasn't until about 2% I got an error. said reference FAQ # 2 at memtest site. and that said either bad ram or bios config is wrong. I was just in my bios looking at my bios and my timings were sitting at 7-7-7-20 all on auto... seems right but my memory calls for 7-7-7-18 does that make a difference?

Ive been running a second mem test @ 6 test 1200 each and it seems to be stable now.

ok nvm. im getting errors a lot. been running 6x test at 1300 each. im getting numerous errors. ill probably buy some ram tomorrow from frys to see if that's the issue. any other suggestions? thanks for your help.

Test each ram on every slot .

Had Northernsoul55 check the recent dmp file you posted and this is what he found

This driver really needs Updated but it is not in his last dump, but was in previous dumps?!?!
My guess maybe a USB device, OP needs to update the driver for that device:

Run a SFC /scannow on an Elevated Command Prompt . Click on the rb: button type CMD inside the search programs and files right click on CMD under Programs(1) choose Run as administrator .

Type SFC /scannow . Upload the CBS.log file with your reply .

How many memory sticks are installed ? You want to run 1 memory stick at a Time to see which memory is bad . How long ago did you buy the stick ? Check with the manufacture if you still have warranty on them .

I bought the sticks last week and they have life time warranty on them. I haven't got around to testing just yet im about to head to work but ill be back tonight. before I leave im trying to get this cbs.log posted. where would I find that and how would I post it?

edit sorry I have 2 sticks 4gb each total memory is 8gb

Ah so you have a dual channel memory kit ? Change both sticks even though one could be bad .

Got another Bsod this happened much faster than other ones.

Lets see what happens when you replace the memory first .

I didn't replace the memory yet. I wanted to try running memtest first.

I ran memtest86 first with both sticks installed. I got errors. so I took one out to test individually. when I test each stick individually, they pass. when I test each slot individually, they pass... only when both are installed,I get errors.

I was just hoping that ram was bad so I can just replace it and my problems would be solved, but instead this happened.

whats the next step in analyzing this?
