Getting BSOD on my new build can anyone help?

Do you test each 1 on each slot ?

Well I tested the 2 slots that I was using.

Test 1 slot one stick one / slot two stick two. I got an error

Test 2 slot one stick one pass.

Test 3 slot one stick two pass.

Test 3 slot two stick one pass.

Test 4 slot two stick two pass.

Test 5 slot one stick two / slot two stick one I got an error.

Pretty much they pass individually in both slots but error together.

Test each slot blue and black . You have a total of 4 slots 2 black 2 blue .

Test 1 ram stick on one slot first . If it passes on that slot then move to the next slot . If it fails then something is wrong with that slot cause it passed on the other slot .

With your board you should be on the two blue slots . For dual channel .

   Note

You want the test to run more then 2 passes . The memory could fail towards the end of the test

But can anything be concluded from the results from Previous test?

They shouldn't be getting any errors together it could either mean either the slot is bad or the memory card is bad that is why you test each ram on every ram slot individually

Alright. so the test are concluded.

each stick of ram passes in each slot individually. tested each slot from last night at 6:00pm till no 8:00pm. with 3-7 passes each before testing another slot.

they only error when both installed into two primary ram slots.

So I decided today to look up the ram I bought. I went to the gskill website to look at my ram and I find out that its not compatible with my mobo chipset. my mother board chipset is amd 970. and its only compatible with

AMD 790 Series
AMD 785 Series
AMD 770 Series

also looked into my mobo manual to see quality vendor list of memory.

It only suggest

DDR3 2133
DDR3 2000
DDR3 1866
DDR3 1800
DDR3 1600
DDR3 1333

at various brands.

My G.Skill F3-8500CL7D-8GBRL (4Gx2) is DDR3 1066

they work for a while, but cause my system to crash.

Im not 100% sure on this. but hopefully its solves my issues. this was my first build and I had my friend look over the components. I guess we just didn't really pay much attention to the ram. we only made sure it had low latency time.

ill message back tomorrow with the results from new ram on my mobos QVL. Crosses fingers.

She's a beast.

The new memory sticks did fix the issue. I went with the corsair xms3 2000mhz. installed them on Saturday.

passed memtest86
didn't crash during 3 hours of game testing
didn't crash during 2 hours of heavy web browsing/gaming

not one crash since I've installed the new sticks.

I decided to do a fresh windows install and I will be ready to OC tomorrow. Thanks again for your help

You're welcome Jerel. Glad you have fixed your issue . If you're going to over click your CPU you might want to do a stress test with Prime95 and use CPU-Z.
