Getting DNS error, afraid this is a malware issue.

Hey guys sorry if this is posted in the wrong spot. My computer is two years old and I've been getting lazy with protecting it. After seeing some threats blocked by AVG my browser started redirecting and then stopped being able to connect at all. Other computers on this wireless router are working fine.

I've run all the usual anti spyware programs in safe mode, cleaned the registry, and tried using a preferred DNS server to a fixed IP. Nothing's working. I'm using my gf's computer to research, download anti spyware programs and post on this forum.

Check all your Network Services as well, see if they are all on Started mode including their Dependencies, check the Dependency Tab for that.
Click on start and type services.msc press enter. On Dependency Tab, check the Dependecies make sure that they are also Started.
