Solved Getting frequent BSOD

Hi everyone,

I own an old Dell E4300 with Windows 7 installed and I frequently get BSOD on it. I have a kernel data inpage error but I don't know how to fix it. I attached the BSOD reports

I did the Dell diagnosis which didn't found any problems. I enabled the driver verifier and will see if I get new BSOD in the next 24 hours :)

PS : I updated my system specs too

Thanks for providing us this information. Its great to hear that we have not found out any hardware issues.

Please check the system with driver verifier and if the blue screen happens then disable the verifier and post the new dump file on the post for us.

Remove chrome from the system and use Revo Uninstaller to remove any unwanted applications from the system:

Revo Uninstaller Pro - Uninstall Software, Remove Programs easily, Forced Uninstall, Leftovers Uninstaller

If you have any other security software would recommend to use Microsoft Security essentials for diagnosing purpose:

I will try to uninstall Chrome to see if the BSOD's stops. Does it mean I have a virus ? (Chrome is not supposed to be a problematic software ?). Can I install Chrome again after uninstalling it with Revo ?

Do I have to switch from Eset Nod32 to MSE right now or wait untill I figure out if Chrome causes the BSOD's ?

Chrome doesn't cause the problem normally. However, it would be worth trying. Kindly remove it from revo uninstaller as suggested. Yes it would be better to switch to MSE for checking the system.

Hi Cl3m,

Sorry missed your latest message. Did you remove the chrome from rev uninstaller. Kindly run the scan for virus or malware using MSE and check the system thoroughly.

Then run SFC SCAN to ensure all files are intact:

After that you can try reinstalling chrome on the system and check the results:

I did uninstall Chrome with Revo

Seems like I have a malware (C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\icsys.icn.exe)

My problem is that MSE can't finish the scan because of bsod's (I haven't reinstall Chrome yet)

I'm currently doing a Malwarebytes scan and will run the SFC SCAN afterwards.

Is there anyway to fix this new problem ?

Seems like you are confused about the situation with the system. I would advise to remove chrome completely from the system and then monitor the system for BSOD.

If BSOD occurs then kindly post the new dump file so we can analyse the same. If it doesn't occur then we can troubleshoot further accordingly.

Thanks for the update. Do we need to have chrome installed on the system or you can use the other alternatives available as well like Firefox,Opera and IE.

If you need the chrome to be installed you should try checking it with a older version of it as well to check:
