I've just installed the Microsoft Entertainment Pack - The Puzzle Collection onto my computer, which has Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit as its OS. I had these games on my very first computer back in '98, and loved them; my wife came across the CD while cleaning out the garage the other day. So I immediately decided to put the games on my current laptop. The problem is that the games are not running as they should. This is not a compatibility issue.
I installed the Entertainment Pack into the games folder (C
rogram Data/Microsoft/Windows/Start Menu/Programs/Games), where it set up a Microsoft Puzzle Collection sub-folder. I then copied the .exe files of the individual games and pasted them into the actual games folder. The games will not open from the games folder, but WILL run if I click on the .exe file in the Microsoft Puzzle Collection sub-folder, which I cannot access from the Start Menu.
Can someone help me out here?
Thanks a lot.
