Hi
This is a terrific forum.
I have a question & hope it's not a duplicate... I plan to install Windows 7 64 bit when I get my copy in Oct. I will do a clean install on a virgin hard drive (WD Scorpio) and have seen a number of posts advising to get drivers to hand before starting the install.
My question is ... can a tool such as Drivermax be used now (ie on my current (Win XP Pro 32 bit) set up) to download the drivers I will require when I am on my Win 7 64 bit platform? ie can I tell (eg) Drivermax to not find Win XP 32 bit drivers but to find Win 7 64 bit drivers, even though Drivermax will no doubt detect that the request is coming from a Win XP 32 bit system, if you see what I mean...
- does the program default to the OS it detects, or can you override that?
Thanks in advance...
