There used to be a patch that enabled the W7 stock games to work in W8. I'd say that was less than a year ago. It worked for my first W8 pc.

Microsoft.games.patcher.1.2-patch.exe

I just tried that on a new W8 install of mine and it didn't work this time.

Has anyone visited this?

Is there another work-around?

I love my Hearts and Spider Solitaire.
