gey"x"s on programs

i get like grey x marks on a bunch of my cpu's programs so im wondering what it is and i have AVG 2013 installed also

It looks like your shortcut overlay on the icons has gotten changed. If you like, you could use the tutorial below to restore the default shortcut arrow overlay.
