i have a little problem with starting the game....i have legal copy of it(with serial etc.) and the problem starts at the moment when i launch the game...it done nothing...dvd is in pc....it just open an pop-up ' Failed to start windows live' and a bit later 'Failed to start xnetstartup'....and now it do nothing...please help me how can i launch the game...i have win 7 x64 ultimate...

I can't even get it to install in Win 7, 64 bit.

Try running "Windows Update" and see if there's an update available for Windows Live.

I don't think my install is a GFWL issue. I just installed "The Club" which requires GFWL from disc and it installed without problems. I'm trying to install Quantum of Solace from disc, it gets to a certain point in the install and hangs up and won't go any further.

I tried installing Quantum of Solace in an old Vista 32 bit PC and it installed without problems on that. Something in Win 7 that it doesn't like. My Win 7, 64 bit install is basically a "vanilla" install - I don't have any tweaks and very little extras installed. I have MS Securiity Essentials which doesn't interfere with installs.

I know there was a recent update to GFWL like Skulblaka mentions so make sure you have that installed

I had some trouble with Batman Arkham Asylum after the recent GFWL update but after a restart and logging in again GFWL works OK now

i'm everyday trying win update and it cannot find me any 'cause my pc is updated....and for win live it doesn't have any updates
