Solved Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 ???

So I got this game free with some hardware and I never play games but I decided to see how it plays on my machine.

It won't work...

I installed it in Vista compatibility mode and no difference..

I get this when trying to launch it:

Crash in application version: 29980.2562

Physics : threaded

The game does warn me ahead of time that it thinks my graphic drivers are out of date, but its just a change in the numbering system and the game is too stupid to understand that 610 is actually better than 68XX.
 
hello,play run on ati1950gt without problem,single scull + multipayer on windows 7beta all version

Chances are your video card does not support the game's Shaders or you need to update your drivers.

Without knowing your specs, we can only speculate though.

Fixed it.

I uninstalled, GRAW, then I uninstalled then reinstalled the latest Catalyst drivers for the ATI 2600XT video card, then I installed the directX from microsoft's website (webinstall), then re-installed GRAW.

Now if I can just fix the Windows 7 not shutting down or restarting issue . . .

I think your video card is the problem. What is a 610 never heard of that video card...
