Solved Global fonts management issue

I recently switched from Windows XP to Windows 7 and i find big difference in the default fonts that win 7 is using in comparison with XP. I mean win 7 fonts are real bad. I guess this can be fixed but can't find way to do this with the default Win 7 options. When i am talking about fonts i mean font characters not font size even so on some places font size is smaller than usual.
For example, i want to change bookmark names font on firefox bookamrks toolbar, the interface font on programs like winamp, desktop icon names font...

Is there a third party software that i can use to manage global font settings in widows 7?

There are many free fonts here, dafont.com
I find one, click download and choose the Open option, double click the font then Install.

Hello peter7277,

To change the default font used in Windows 7 you can use step 2 of this tutorial.
Do note that this will not change the font used in applications (such as Firefox and Winamp).

To change the font used in Firefox, you can read this tutorial.

To change the font that Winamp uses, you can read this guide. You can also check this page which has many alternatives themes (skins) that you can install so that Winamp looks different.
