And? First thought that came to mind for me was selling it and just buying a normal copy (sell for higher then the normal copy, obviously)

My opinion, they can do whatever they want with the Win7 copy. It's theirs personal.

It's the party stuff that would make me mad showing up on eBay. MS contracted a party from them with this stuff, so they better use it.

I must be one of the few who never got any email saying we were selected. Of course, I still have not gotten any saying I wasn't either. It kind of bothers me in a way since a lot of "hosts" are simply selling their party pack on eBay instead of using it the way MS intended. I think it would have been fun to throw a party! Maybe next time, whenever Windows 8 comes out

There is really no use in selling the Sig Edition of 7 either...

Of course you can sell it for more than a retail Ultimate BUT you are not going to get THAT much more (at least from a sensibly intelligent person). MS killed the value of it with all of the Sig Editions they have sent out.It could have been worth a lot more

For me the big thing was to get the signature edition of Windows 7 Ultimate. The 64-bit version is since a couple of hours powering our HTPC, updating as we speak. The real Signature Edition is the 32-bit version which I do not need. It stays unopened and seal unbroken as an reminder of Windows 7 Launch. As a memento I value it quite high.

Both. The Signature Edition is a x86 version, the x64 comes separately packed.
