Hello,

Gmeail notifier, upon the boot of windows 7, the notifier would automatically sign in.
the username and passwsord, is stored on the windows credentials, and so would log in by itself.

as far as i know, it has nothing to do with internet explorer, as internet explorer doesnt even open for this to happen.

it used to log in itself, but recently hasnt been.

the windows security lon-in box opens on ever boot, and sits in the top left hand corner on the screen. the details are already in the username and password entry field.

but will just sit there untill i click the 'ok' button.

i know its not major, but msn sings in itslef, and gmail notifier used too, its just a little strange.

i havent changed any registry fields, or deleted any cookies etc.

hmm, any help, or simular experiences would be great,
many thanks
stuart

I used to like IE till I found FFox years ago. Have tried every other browser I could find but always returned to FFox. Why not try it?

I am using Firefox (nightly) and Gmail notifier does not sign in automatically it does the same as yours, in fact it never has signed in when I start Windows and I have been using it since it first came out.

I had the same issue with Gmail Notifier, it never signed in automatically - finally I had enough of it one day and started looking for alternatives. There are plenty of them, but POP Peeper is the one that won me over.
