Solved Gmail very slow in coming up.

Recently I have noticed my gmail coming up slower each day.
I have tried to fix this problem by getting rid of any polymorphic infections, obfuscate stuff and re-examined my network security.

But still - gmail and anything to do with google seems to continue to take forever to come up.

Computer is Windows 7 64bits. Just 1 year old. Lots of harddrive space.

If your browser and/or plugins are outdated it could affect it.

I tried that too. Just lost right now for other ways to go. Gmail can't be the problem as it works fine on my laptop with Vista..

I am running both Windows Explorer and firefox.
I try one with gmail, and than the other. Neither one is better or worse.

Gmail still takes its ole time to come up. Yet everthing works fine with gmail once it is up. But the wait is getting to be so long.

Use No Add-ons mode/ Click the Start button and type in the search box,
Internet explorer
Click on the No add-ons suggestion or it’s located at,
Start/ All programs/ Accessories folder/ System tools folder/ No add-ons.

I fixed my gmail problem where it was coming up slow. I simply deleted all my 'trash' mail. And instantly Gmail now pops up and into service.

Why didn't I think of that before.

Anyway - it works and a good pointer maybe for others to consider..

Thanks for the update,
I'm not sure if the junk folder is in view by default in gmail anymore in the new version ?
It is for me but I'm not sure if I added it and remove some of the other listings or not ?
