God Mode folder extension visible

Hi there, I turned on my computer today and was annoyed that the "God Mode" folder's extension is showing (The .{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} part).

I've tried creating new God Mode folders but they're all showing. Reboot also doesn't solve this. Any ideas? Thanks.

Are you following the instructions exactly? Create a new folder, and name it GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}. Copy and paste that; it is case sensitive.

Yes. It's been fine up until this morning. The folder works just that the extension not being hidden as per usual is annoying me.

You should be able to just rename the folder. After you initially name it GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}, rename it to GodMode.

Nope I can't. If I do that, it will overwrite the extension and it will go back to becoming a normal folder again. The {ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} part is always visible.

Give this "Control Panel All Tasks List" (aka: God Mode) shortcut a try instead to see how it works for you. It will only display the name you give it instead.
