I have "Restorator 2007," but I was wandering if there was software like Restorator that actually gave the file name the actual name or something like that. I just hate look in a .dll file and me encountering two images that look exactly the same, but I don't know what's the difference or what it goes to.

There are several free .dll editors listed here. One or more may meet your needs but you'd have to give them a try in order to know for sure. I'd respectfully suggest that you have a current system image available "just in case"; especially if you're going to experiment by editing any .dll files on your primary computer.

Best dll editor freeware downloads.

Best Free Hex Editor (FYI: The # 1 choice has been updated for Windows 7.)

I know there are many .dll free editors. I already have HxD. I was just wandering if "anybody knew" about a .dll that actually labeled the images in the .dll, such as Windows Styles Builder. Yeah, you're not using a .dll you're using a msstyle. But it's an example of what I mean.
