I think that I am ready to do that repair install. Everything is in order, I'm pretty sure, except for the issue of Windows Update.
I have been informed by people that know what they are talking about that my computer will have problems with Windows Update if I do a repair install as is.
So I need to find some way to get the updates installed manually. I know that doing that would take a long time, but it is either that or be stuck with a Day 1 Windows 7 computer, in essence.
So does anyone know what I ought to do in this case? Is there a pack that has all updates, minus the bad updates?
If not, is there a pack that has all updates, that I would be able to manually uninstall the bad ones afterwards? Or would I be stuck unable to uninstall the bad updates?
