Google Chrome BSOD's and Aion game crashes

Not certain if this is the appropriate forum, but was suggested in gaming forum to post here instead. Have been plagued with repeated aion game crashes since start. Someone who looked at error report said it might be a video driver issue, but after trying to update every drtiver I can think of there is no resolution. Seperately, but perhaps related, google chrome seems to sometimes spark bsod memory management errors.

If anyone could help at least narrow the problem down for me from "everything" it would be greatly appreciated.

side note: In trying to make certain I had all the updated drivers possible, I somehow compounded problem and now enjoy rubber banding effects and random disconnects in game as well. Think the issue may have been some of the asus drivers.

How's the PC running ?

Also when I was running malware scan, did have a BSOD, think this is the correct posting from event viewer for it, though not certain

Small update. attempted a sfc /scannow . The first time it prompted a bsod that said modification of system code or a critical data structure was detected stop 0x00000109. The 2nd time it completed but said windows resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.

Not sure if its relevant but thought best to include.

Seperately as stated previously (if anyone knows how to read these things) I somehow messed up things further when attempting new driver downloads which now cause game to experience frequent rubber banding effects (ie: being sent back to area you already passed) as well as server disconnects , both of which I never had prior.

Update, enabled driver verifier after reading some threads on this forum. It prompted the following bsod

asupio.sys addresss ffff880031cf766 base at ffff880031ce000 date stamp 4c57835f device driver attempting to corrupt system faulty driver currently on kernel stack must be replaced.

As it turns out doing the verifier produced numerous crashes. That one aside, all of them list "ntoskrnl.exe" as the driver responsible when Im viewing them on bluescreenview to see the mini dump reports. In fact all the way back to April when I likely set up to start recording the dumps.

Looking it up it seems its generally associated with windows xp, i'm running wind 7. But perhaps not coincidentally whenever I check what appears to be the default compatibility setting for any application in processes tab, it always seems to show windows xp instead of windows 7. Ive been manually changing compatibility to windows 7 when I see them, but never understood why it would be xp to begin with.

Any advice on how to resolve this issue would be appreciated.

Also update your Nvidia chipset driver. Uninstall the old driver first then install the new one.
