I hate Google and do not want to have anything to do with it. By accident I downloaded Google Chrome from a "free" software addition and immediately removed it with its uninstall.
HOWEVER when I run the CCleaner analysis, there are four existing Google Chrome entries, and the Cache this last time had over 63 megabites of data to be removed from the Google Chrome cache. When I went to look for Chrome in regedit, I found an entry in client use for proxies, and Firefox, which is my regular browser is listed as a proxy.
How is Chrome obtaining all this data on my computer use if it isn't stealing it from Firefox?
I only use Chrome through Vivaldi, and I use DuckDuckGo for my search. I've removed Google search as a search option in Firefox and I haven't even used Vivaldi yet.
How do I get rid of all traces of Google in my registry? I don't want to be able to use it or to have it use me.
