I want to change several things in Googles settings but it always gets back to default. Is this a problem with Google or Windows? I guess it's something with Windows since it was the same thing with Vista and I have not found any info about any bug about this with Google. Is it some cockie that's get deleted for some reason? Is it stored in a coockie at all? Is it NOD32 that deletes it without telling me?
Starting to get realy annoyed about this now.

So al you Gurus, please help!

Have you checked in your Internet Options to see if it is set to allow cookies, or delete them automatically?

Do any other sites (such as SevenForums) remember you, if you check the Remember Me box?
If not, are you using any programs (such as CCleaner) to automatically clean the computer?

Those are actually set on Googles servers I believe BUT in order to know who you are the standard practice is to place a cookie in your coockies cache to identify you.

If you have accept cookies turned off or you frequently wipe your coockies/cache files then that'll remove any personalization from a lot of web sits.

Cookies are "evil" when used for evil but they do have an actual working purpose and that kind of thing is exactly what they were meant for :)

I did ad Google in alowed sites in settings for IE to now and hope that helps. I have no function activated that automaticly deletes coocies or so, so I think it's quite strange. Since not everyone seems to have this problem it could be NOD32 that do something but I have looked at it and noting points in that direction.

If you wonder about NOD32, try disabling it.

Yes, I have thought of that of course. But with al thoose damn idiots that make virus and trojans and stuff out there I realy don't know if I dare to do that. I remember the XP time when I didn't even had time to download the hotfix for a particular virus before it was infected and that one was made to prevent downloading fixes. That made me realy aware about the threat thoose %//("(#=&)(&¤ make.

Tell you what. Disable NOD32 and you will be okay. Just remember to turn it back on. Don't go to any p0rn sites, and do not download anything from torrent. Do not download cracks and keygens for programs. Just visit SevenForums and email and you will be okay.

I often tell people that common sense is way better than any anti-virus. The only times I have ever gotten viruses were when I was downloading cracks for software and downloading music illegally. Both times I was doing something shady. Never gotten a virus since those days.

Yes but I only run the part that deletes unwanted things in registry and have never had any problem with that. I never deleta any cocies becouse of that I don't want to write everything al the time at sites and I am not afraid of them. They are mostly a good thing as someone before said.

Ok, it didn't take lomg to see that it didn't help to put google in that allowed list in IE. If nobody knows what excaktly what I have to do in NOD I'll just try to turn it of then. Scary indeed.

NOD seemes to be the problem but what to do?

I have disabled NOD 32 since yesterday and restarted the computer and made al sort of stuff and still google remembers my settings. So now my question is what setting in NOD is it that makes this problem? I don't like to have it disabled al the time since it has helped me several times?
