Hi! Paul,
I have only seen one post asking for help installing Google Toolbar (GT) for IE9RC, but it has not been replied to yet.

There are some tips to install GT here: https://www.google.com/support/toolbar/bin/answer.py?answer=175693&cbid=-1hv10gv0al9gm&src=cb&lev=%20answer
Click on the link for IE to open up tips for IE.

Two biggies are make sure you have the latest GT, and the latest IE9, double check for any updates.

You may have conflicts with other add-ons. And

Clear your browsing history.

Thanks for your reply, but alas it's still a no go keeps telling me unable to download the exe file. I'll just let it be for a while and try another time.
