I would consider doing this with home equipment as very risky. If you really wish to proceed I would advise you to thoroughly research this. Asking questions on a forum is not good enough.

The graphics card in my specs actually died. It was ressurected few weeks ago.
I'm asking the question in the first post because this is actually my first time reflowing the graphics card on the PCB and it actually worked and wondering if I can do the method again if my graphics card dies again.
John I can not answer your question because I have never tried.
My thought are that if a re-flow of a re-flow is needed, you need a new card.
Their is no magic wand to fix such a problem to the best of my knowledge.
I'm not sure why one would want to even try such a thing.
If a re-flow somehow melted the solder and in the process the wrong things got soldered together you could destroy a motherboard when the video card is plugged into the motherboard.

The only fix is to remove the chip and re-ball it. Then you can replace the chip in the jig and use the x ray machine to align the connections up. The resolder station and x ray device will cost you around $15 to $20 K. I used to do this exactly at Thomson in product development trying out new BGA (Ball Grid Array) chips in development. You really need a new video card. I can't do it any more as I have not worked there since 2002. Oh and you need a microscope to see the chip positioning......and good eyes which I no longer have. Left eye hardly sees squat any more.
