quick question on GTA 4..

I played the expansions with no problem on win 7..NVIDIA 5200 video card

I think I simply did a normal install for the expansions

So with GTA 4, I did a regular install, no compat, no administrator checks..

Game plays ok 90-95 percent of the time but there are a few glitches..

Times when there's lag, times in the cutscenes when faces disappear (and all your have left are the teeth and the eyes lol!), and times when driving a night you go from color to a black and white screen..

Just wondered if you just have to labor through this, whether a reinstall with compat for Win Vista or XP with administrator might help, or whether you can adjust any specific graphics settings to take care of the graphics problems mentioned above?

Quick Answer

You played the Standalone Expansion LCS (Liberty City Stories) which are already Fixed... You need to download the last patch which was released for GTA IV. LCS Includes those Fixes already which you played before.
