graphic driver

if i go to device manager and i look at my display adaptor it says : standard vga graphics adapter.on windows xp sp3 it sayd my graphic board name gforce 8400s.this means that the graphic driver is not installed?

Also you say your card is 8400 but in your system specs you have an ATI card listed.. Please clarify the hardware in your system specs.

yes sorry for that,i am using my laptop now.on the system specs its my desktop computer configuration.
yes for other hardware how do i know if i have the properly installed drivers?i have a disc with all the drivers for my laptop but i dont know if they will work for windows 7

i am not sure if this is the answer...on the sticker on the back of the laptop it says for :
MS-163xx

You're not seeing anything like "Entertainment Series, Professional Series, Gaming Series" etc?

Underneath the laptop you sure you;re not seeing 'Product # : XXXX" or something of the sort

If you click on the image twice (or right click and open in a new tab/window) it will open large, and in Firefox at least will also enlarge if clicked on once more,

EX600 found it in BIOS
anyway i think windows just broke.i installed all the drivers from the cd even the graphics driver (it sayd for xp but what the heck) and now if i open a image i get blue screen and after 1 second automatic restart.

Try booting to safe mode, and if you can uninstall the XP video driver.

Just select "Geforce 8M Series" from the dropdown and select your operating system.
