I'd like to upgrade my Vista machine to Win7 but am unsure whether my graphics capability will need an upgrade. Current machine is -

Processor - AMD Sempron 3400+
Graphics - Integrated NVidia GeForce 6150 LE

I understand Win7 needs DirectX 9 and WDDM 1, but don't know whether this integrated card can handle this.

Any advice / guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

It can handle Aero and work well on Windows 7. Just make sure that in the bios you can dedicate at least 128 mb memory for it.

It is no great performer for games or HD video. For that you'll need an upgrade.

For DVD video, general usage, 2004 games and earlier, it will suit you well.
