On my actual monitor using a VGA Cable, it will display a full clear 1920x1080 perfectly. When I put it on my friends LED Tv via VGA cable, I get this result (in picture). When I put it on duplicate displays, it only goes to 1360x768. Why is this? By the way, I don't know why it gives me two displays. The VGA's running straight from my graphics card. And in the picture, it's displaying the 1360 display to the left not the 1600 display.

Hello EF mate I had a problem similar to this when I purchased a new monitor and I was directed to the Catalyst Control Centre and then made it fit with the scaling feature

Do you mean 1366x768? Do all the monitors have the same native resolution? I think you can click and drag the monitor images to where they are physically.

Normally, LCD/LED Televisions will have a maximum of 1360x768 resolution. All you have to do is to do a scaling fit so your computer will set the right resolution for your monitor. Secondly, do you have any other monitor plugged to your graphics card? if not just set it to display one monitor.

Yes Roaster that is why I suggested the CCC to do just that. My experience with my laptop on a 42" TV I have had no such problem.

There are other issues here too which I do not fully understand such as in this article.

This is what I see. I unchecked that and put 1080 and 60 hz but still nothing... Now it doesn't even let me go at 1366 or it gives me that black screen saying the resolution isn't supported, even though I was using it the other day.

I had something very similar happen when I connected a 29 inch LED display to my VGA PC output. I'm running a Nvidia 6800 PCIe Video card and could only get 1368 x 720 screen resolution. Makes for a VERY huge screen. A few hours later after researching it. Nvidia "pushed" a new driver update and after it installed and reboot...whallla I had 2000 SUMTHING x 1080P.
OBTW the second monitor is a Windows 7 thing. Windows 7 is "remembering" that you have had a Large Screen Display connected...just in case you ever have Both displays connected or ever connect it again in the future.
