Solved Graphics Driver Fails When Looking Through Pictures

Im using the RC. I recently put photos from my digital camera to the PC, and upon browsing them, twice I recieved a video driver stopped working and restored itself. Never had this issue one time in all the betas Ive used. Anyone got any ideas?

Have you downloaded the latest Intel graphics driver or are you using the native Windows 7 driver?

2 days after i installed the Release Candidate, there was a WDDM updated driver through windows update that it installed. Said it was new too.

I've searched the Intel website, is your card on board?

Your best bet is to download the Vista drivers from here - Download Software, Drivers and Utilities Filters (Intel series 4)- and once downloaded, install them with compatability for Vista. Windows will state that the driver you are installing is older than the 1 already installed, but just click yes & continue the installation.

The plus side of this is you get full control over your GFX card as it should also install the Intel (R) Graphics Media Accelerator Driver software.

Okay did that. It did lower my score from 3.5 to 3.3 however.

reason why is because the vista driver is a wddm 1.0 and the driver you had (7 driver) and the update is a wddm 1.1....
7 restricts the wei score if you dont have wddm 1.1 drivers
the question is that is more reliable or solved your problem?
