I think you misunderstood.

I said McD caters mostly to that crowd in the US, and I've heard this from many MANY people (americans......). That its considered low class, and low grade, food in places all around the states.

You seem to have thought I implied most people in the US were rednecks and poor people. Well, no I didn't.
Also, I don't appreciate the tone you had there, but if it was merely a misunderstanding as I suspect, I'll let it slide.

Funnily enough I was in Burger King today. Had a double Angus with cheese and bacon. Absolutely delish. No sign of that Windows 7 Whopper I posted about. Did anyone watch that vid? That guy eats the whole lot-4 pounds of meat- amazing.
Whilst there I recalled the Dark Whopper of a few months ago. Don't know whether you guys got that promo but it was a Batman burger to advertise the Darknight movie. There were pictures of Batman all over with his abs and pecs rippling under his costume. Looking round at all the morbidly obese people it was hard to imagine him eating burger and fries. I imagine he eats raw steak and lots of green vegetables

However what would happen if we actually WON -- I refer you to that great Peter Sellers Film "The Mouse that Roared" which portrayed a tiny country facing the same dilemma as Iceland - and opted for War against the USA - but things didn't go according to plan as they actually WON . Great funny film - worth seeing.
