Grey screen on start up

Hi.

When I start my windows 7 computor it goes perfect until I've logged in.
When I'm supposed to see the desktop I can only see my mouse-pointer on a grey background..... Not even CTRL+ALT+DEL works......

Any suggestions?

The windows came with the computor so it should work.... and have worked.

It is a windows 7 home premium 32bit.
